Our primary concern has been and will continue to be the health and well being of our athletes, families, and staff. We are determined to bring lacrosse back to your community soon.

LGS Lacrosse understands that there is a lot of uncertainty right now, so the only thing we are asking from you is your commitment to attend an event, no deposit. As a result, we have eliminated deposits so that you pay nothing upfront. We ask that you register only if there is serious intent to attend the event. Once we gain a clearer understanding of our timeline to return to the field, we will reach out for payment.

At this time we have postponed Queen of the Mount, Spring Club Play Day, and Spring Classic. We will continue to monitor COVID-19 and provide timely updates to all events, at least 4 weeks in advance of the scheduled event date. Utilizing our social media channels, LGS Lacrosse is providing uplifting and instructional content to help you continue to strengthen your game even when off the field. We encourage you to submit a video of your at-home practice for the chance to be featured!

Please know we have your best interests in mind and will continue to update you as changes are made. We will also continue to update our website lgslacrosse.com, which is a great source of information regarding LGS Lacrosse events.

Previous Note From CEO Steve Griffin:

Dear Athletes and Parents,

Over the past two months, we have been monitoring the ever-changing characteristics of COVID-19 (Coronavirus).  During this time, our primary concern has been the health and wellbeing of our athletes, families and staff.

In light of the recent developments, we have made the difficult decision to postpone the Queen of the Mount event scheduled for March 29, 2020. At this time it is the only event we have postponed. We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 virus, and provide timely updates on this page that impact each of you and your experience with LGS Lacrosse events. Our plan is to make decisions relating to any possible changes to events at least 2 weeks in advance of the scheduled event date to help you in your planning and scheduling.

Sport can play an impactful role during difficult times by providing a sense of normalcy, social engagement, and comfort that we will persevere. This is particularly important for our children. We look forward to getting back on the field as soon as possible with our schedule of events this coming summer.

Please know that we have your best interests in mind and will be in touch shortly.

Thanks again for your understanding and support.

Be well,

Steve Griffin
