All players are required to self roster prior to the event.
Please be sure to have your jersey number and US Lacrosse number available when rostering. Additionally, high school players should have their GPA, ACT and SAT scores.
Teams must check-in at least 1-hour prior to each team’s first game
All waivers must match your roster. (ENFORCED!) USL memberships for players are required. (ENFORCED!) All Waivers must include a valid US Lacrosse number
Players who do not have a valid USL membership MUST join in order to participate.
All divisions will be modified for six field players and a GK (See 7 v 7 Rules below).
Adult division will used 2018-19 womens NCAA rules.
High School divisions will use USL 2019 rules.
Middle School division will use USL 14U rules. (see chart)
Youth division will use USL 10U rules. (see chart)
It will be at the game officials discretion to determine the suitability of player equipment including the wearing of orthopedic cast or hard brace. Mouth guards and eye protection are mandatory, per USL rules. Coaches must certify their team’s equipment prior to the tournament.
Schedule may be modified if necessary due to inclement weather or poor field conditions.
Clear all fields due to hazardous conditions. Teams should report to their cars, or under cover off of the playing fields if lightning causes a stoppage in play. All fields will be cleared. Game-lengths may be modified if make up games are deemed necessary. Play will resume following one long, loud blast by the air horn.
All coaches have total responsibility for the conduct of their players, substitutes, friends, and spectators at all times. Coaching from the sideline (giving direction to one’s own team on points of strategy and position) is permitted, provided:
A player or coach receiving two yellow cards in a single game will be ejected from the game by the game officials, if these violations are proven to be flagrant, the player or coach will be expelled the tournament. Ejections are determined by the game officials, expulsion by the tournament directors. Those receiving Red Cards will be reviewed for immediate ejection from the event.
All disputes will be settled by the Tournament Directors or his/her designee and the decision will be final.
Round Robin 7-v-7 TEAM SCORING:
Win = 5 Points
Tie = 3 Points
Loss = 0 Points
Tie Breaker: 1) 3-v-3 and Braveheart Points (see Below). 2) Goal Differential against next highest rated opponents. 3) Draw Straws.
7-v-7 Tournament Procedures:
After Round Robin Play, the Teams will be seeded for Tournament Play in a single-elimination tournament. Seeding is determined by Win, and Tie points across the event. Any tie situations will be worked out using tie-breaker points accumulated from the 3-v-3 and Braveheart tournaments (see below). Games ending in ties will stand as tie games, earning each team 3 points.
No timeouts are permitted
