Dear Spring Classic Coaches,
Over the past two months, we have been monitoring the ever-changing characteristics of COVID-19 (Coronavirus). During this time, our primary concern has been the health and well-being of our athletes, families and staff.
In light of the recent developments, we have made the difficult decision to postpone the Spring Classic event scheduled for May 3, 2020. We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 virus, and provide timely updates that impact each of you and your experience with LGS Lacrosse events. Our plan is to make decisions relating to any possible changes to events at least 2 weeks in advance of the scheduled event date to help you in your planning and scheduling.
Sport can play an impactful role during difficult times by providing a sense of normalcy, social engagement, and comfort that we will persevere. This is particularly important for our children. We look forward to getting back on the field as soon as possible with our schedule of events this coming summer.
Please know that we have your best interests in mind and will be in touch shortly.
Thanks again for your understanding and support.
