Sunday, April 28th, twenty competitive elite lacrosse teams from New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut and Maryland came together to play in a fun day of games at the Spring Club Play Day, an NGLL regional qualifier event.  The NXT Lacrosse Club, established in 2015, traveled to Far Hills, New Jersey from Pennsylvania with five teams from graduation years 2023 to 2026. LEGACY Global Sports Lacrosse Digital Marketing Coordinator, Blaire Nathanson sat down with NXT Executive Vice President of Girls Lacrosse and 2020 Head Coach Kate Henwood to discuss her experience at the Spring Club Play Day, as well as other T3 Lacrosse Events.  Kate has attended several T3 Lacrosse Events with NXT in the past including Top Flight and Best of the Beach, and noted that T3 Elite and NXT have a good repore and attend each other’s events frequently. Kate said simply, “They are run well!” She then went on to say, “Kat Holley (Senior Manager and Director of Events at T3 Lacrosse) does a phenomenal job. We communicate ahead of time about scheduling and make sure our teams are getting what they need.  Everything is very professional and they care about the details, including scorekeepers sitting at the tables and lined fields. These are some of the things you might not see at other events that really matter to the kids, the parents and the coaches. They are making sure they are taking care of us.”

Blaire Nathanson also spent time with some players from the NXT 2024 team.  Grace Kelly, a 7th grader from Strath Haven Middle School, liked “how organized everything is” and that “everything is on schedule.”  Hailey Murray, also a 7th grader from Strath Haven, recognized the favorable facility and fields.

LEGACY Global Sports and T3 Events are hosting another great Sunday of lacrosse games this weekend at the Spring Classic, May 5th, in Basking Ridge, New Jersey.  Over 70 teams will be competing for the division championship title. Learn more here!
